The International Conference on Digital Technologies for Sustainable Agriculture (ICDTSA- 2024) is organized by Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, under the framework of AGRHI project sponsored by Erasmus+. Co-organized by Anna University, Chennai, and College of Engineering, Pune, the conference serves as a platform for scholars, practitioners, educators, industry professionals, and agricultural entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge, enhance practices, and stimulate innovation in sustainable agriculture. Additionally, it aims to foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment where researchers from diverse fields can connect agriculture with sustainable development. The conference features plenary sessions, poster presentations, interdisciplinary dialogues with international experts, and specialized tracks for original research articles, providing participants, with opportunities to exchange ideas, innovations and practical knowledge.

About Anna University, Chennai

    Anna University Chennai (AUC) is a Public State University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Centre for Aerospace Research (CASR) at the AUC is actively developing precision agricultural drones with state-of-the-art multispectral sensors to gather real-time crop data. Additionally, CASR has developed a vision-based technology for crop disease detection by utilizing high-resolution multispectral cameras. In the AGRHI project, AUC will lead the ‘WP6: Farm Management AGRHI App’, which will provide the necessary support for the farmers. AUC will also make substantial contributions to all other work packages to support the overall project objective.
