Regional Agriculture Transformation Training (RATT 2025) is a specialized workshop focused on tech-driven agriculture, bringing together experts, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals to explore innovative solutions for modern farming. Hosted at VIT Chennai on March 20-21, 2025, RATT 2025 aims to bridge the gap between innovation and agriculture, empowering participants with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills to drive smart and sustainable agriculture forward.

RATT VITC 2025

The Regional Agriculture Transformation Training (RATT) on Tech-Driven Agriculture: Bridging Innovation and Farming, held on 20–21 March 2025 at VIT Chennai, focused on practical applications of UAV, autonomous systems, and geospatial technologies in agriculture.
The workshop started with featured sessions by Dr. Sathian D on drone technology and its role in precision agriculture. It also included a live demonstration of UAVs and an autonomous rover, showcasing their real-time implementation in field operations. The next day was led by Dr. J. Ramachandran from TNAU, who introduced geospatial tools for agricultural and environmental applications. The day included hands-on training in remote sensing data analysis, a demo of advanced farm equipment, and a weather station demonstration by an industry expert.
The event concluded with a valedictory session, underlining the importance of integrating emerging technologies into modern farming practices.
